Screen Equipment

Robotic Arm Loader with CNC Cutter

Please watch the video of our latest semi-jumbo(108- by 144-inch) CNC Linear Motor glass cutting line, including a robotic glass loading system, which can load 25 to 30 different types of glass. The design minimized floor space requirements while also accommodating building column interferences. Glassline’s CNC LM Cutting Machine design provides high speed, high acceleration, AND tight tolerances. It is very low maintenance due to the use of linear motors and a patented direct drive cutting head, eliminating the use of any belts or gears to wear. Call today to discuss how we can help collaborate on your project, for the best solution for YOU. GLASSLINE®, a name you have trusted for 50 years.

Glass Rectangle Slitting (Strip Cutting)

Appliance, as well as some other manufacturers, need to process small parts for things such as refrigerator shelves. It is more costly and difficult to handle if the raw glass comes from the float line in small pieces. Therefore a slitting line is one solution, whereby the glass can be shipped in larger blanks, and slit, or cut down into the smaller pieces required. Slitting is the process of using multiple cutting heads to score a sheet in a straight line. This slitting can happen with the glass moving past fixed cutting heads, or by placing the cutting heads on a bridge with the glass fixed in position. In the case of the example shown, the block is automatically loaded by our overhead loader, and the block is automatically positioned so that the slit pieces are of a nominal size tolerance. The glass is then transferred under the slitting bridge which has five slitting heads. These heads are automatically set up to size by the program based on the size of the block and the size of the parts desired. The glass is then transferred, the scores are snapped, and the individual parts are fed into a Glassline double edger, which is the only edger fast enough to handle parts at this speed. Other slitting configurations can be proposed depending on your needs.

PUNCH TOOL FOR CURTAIN WALLS AND STOREFRONTS

Pneumatic Punch Tools for Curtain Walls / Facade Systems / Commercial Systems / Storefronts / Commercial Entrances / Window Wall / ShopFronts.

Shoham’s punch presses are designed to save valuable processing time by providing a fast and efficient production line. Unlike other machinery, pneumatic punching machines can eliminate the slow and tedious process and deliver in just a few simple stages.

Our tools can punch multiple applications:

  • Pressure Plates
  • Covers / Caps
  • Head / Sill Anchor
  • Shear Block / Clip
  • Holes in Mullions (including countersinks)
  • Notch Heads and Sills to Clear Anchor Clips
  • Water drainage and weep holes
  • Mullion holes for shear blocks
  • Holes for screw spline application
  • Frame fabrication – Sill
  • Center glaze, flush fronts, open back mullions, pressure bar / face cap dies.

Advantages:

  • Faster than drilling and routing, labor time is spared on each and every punch
  • Fast and easy assembly
  • Operator friendly – only one operator is required
  • Dimensions / setup can be changed upon customer’s request
  • Quick lead & delivery times.

SIMULTANEOUS PUNCHING SYSTEM

The Simultaneous Punching System is a smart and simple solution that saves precious time and money. Work efficiency increases dramatically by perforating several points at once, with fast and accurate results on every cycle.

With a light structure, each punching unit is compact yet strong for heavy duty continuous work with a press force of up to 1.5 tons. The units slide smoothly with a soft finger touch and can be locked in any position set by a measuring tape.

The system has a failsafe fully pneumatic interface ‘Plug N Punch’ with no need for electricity, oil refills or maintenance. One foot lever can activate up to eight pneumatic units at once, in just a fraction of a second.

Die sets are completely changeable, thanks to a revolutionary ‘Quick Clamp’ system developed by Shoham. A set can be switched in just a few seconds by simply sliding out the old set and clamping on a new one instead. No need for any tools, extra hands or experience, the ‘Quick Clamp’ system can be easily utilized by anyone.

Haffner SAC 845

SAC-845

The SAC-845 automates the application of screen mesh to a pre-assembled screen frame. The SAC-845 utilizes barcode scanning or direct ERP input to identify the screen frame, automatically choose and apply the correct screen mesh, insert the screen spline, and trim excess perimeter screen mesh. Estimated typical cycle time for a 24- by 36-inch window screen frame is approximately 35 seconds, including all handling.

Overview

  • 0.140” to 0.200” screen spline diameter
  • 2 position screen mesh applicator to optimize utilization and reduce scrap
  • Typical .010” thickness, polyester, nylon or PVC screen mesh
  • Input via HMI screen or via bar code scan
  • Minimum frame size 15” x 15”
  • Maximum frame size 30” x 60”, larger sizes available upon demand
  • Typical frame profile size, minimum- .375” x 1.125”, maximum- .5” x 1.125”.140” to .200” screen spline diameter

Notes

  • Model SAC-855 can accommodate larger sizes such as 48″ x 96″ patio doors as well as smaller window sizes
